Hi there, I'm new to free-loops. I just recently downloaded the audio toolbox with the 3,500 loops for the donation of $9.95 (including 1000 sound effect, 300 synth, 1100 drum, 300 bass, 300 drum kit, 500 instrument). I don't see any licensing documents anywhere regarding these loops. Can these be used for commercial use? If they can be used for commercial use, where can I obtain a license/document allowing me to use them?
Thanks, Gene |

The sounds and loops retain the original copyright. If you want to use one for something other than personal use, ie home videos, tracks to mix at the club, gags, or for power point presentations etc.. them have at it.
If you want to use them for commercial purposes (like selling a track to someone, or for use in a film that people will be charging to see then you need to first verify the license type. Quickest way to do this is to search on the right side of http://free-loops.com for the sounds name then look on that sounds page for the license. Hope this makes things a little clearer and thanks so much for supporting free-loops.com people have no idea how much overhead there is, and all support helps. |

Ok, thanks that makes things a bit clearer. So, a few follow-up questions. I'm on the page of a few sound effects that I'm interested in. A few are listed under the public domain (creative commons: public)....Others say creative commons: no.....Does this mean I can use these in any way I want, like commerical use?
