Mike,
Thanks for putting something like this together. It's great resource for video editors. I have a question, do we need to contact the artist to get their permission to use the loops in commercial work? I have read the creative commons license agreement, however, it would be great if we could get something in writing from the artist. Also, are the loops sample free? Most of the loops I'm using are yours, except for a really great solar and lunar loop that I'm using. If anyone else knows, please feel free to hit me with an answer. I need to turn this into the client tomorrow and I would love to keep the music I am currently using in the piece. - Chris |

Yeah man. Everything i do i release into the Creative Commons Attribution
http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ To sum it up... the distributed or produced work must somehow recognize that certain sounds where obtained from this website and the artist should be named. you can due this in the credits... on a website... in the readme... the notes... somewhere. It just helps further spread the word. ![]() Hope that helps. Sorry for the delayed response. I've been busy recording and uploading sounds. |
