Default loading sound bank into reason

Hi I'm in the process of developing my own music production software with java so I'm using my old copy of reason to learn some of the small things in developing this type of software.

I just downloaded the free sound bank and I wanted to know how do I load it into my reason sound bank or use it on some of my instruments in reason.

Im a big reason fan myself.

Well reason is strange in that it has its own sound bank types.
Malstrom uses malstrom files, Subractor use subtractor patches, etc.

You can load wav and i think mp3 files into "Redrum" its kinda a mess though because it does not "time stretch" it like Acid or Fruity Loops does.

The full version of reason comes with software needed to convert audio files to rex files. That may be your best bet, if you have that.

Hope that gets you where you want to go.

If you want to convert any mp3 to wav, just download that utility that is in the link that was emailed to you.
