Default FL studio 8 help needed

Hi folks
I just got my hands on FL 8 and i have to admit, i'm getting very
frustrated with this program. I feel it definately isn't user friendly.
I have used other software which was simple, easy to use and
understand. I enjoy playing with sounds and making melodies, however this program has got me enlisted in anger management.

Is there anyone else using FL studio?
I would enjoy learning with someone who knows how,
or maybe i should hire a 5 year old to push buttons and teach me

FL was recommended to me, maybe i could have opted for Ableton instead

Yeah Fruity Loops is not super easy unless someone can show you a few things then its really easy.
