Default Passions Instrumental - Classical Warzone

I did this beat for the contest.

I cut and trimmed its elements to show off here!

Give me your opinions! Anything!

Thanks.

Not bad.
You might need to change the percussion a little, those snares have to be thicker. Try to make the same line with several different sounds and mix all those to seem like an "army of drummers".
Also, I would try more orchestral sound, throw some brass instruments there.
Final touch, a good reverb to "glue all together".
SIR1 is a good free impulse reverb.

Hmm... I will try your bass but really the bass needs some really good notes in order to work with it all.

There is some reverb, just alot of motion inside the beat but eh ill give it a more of a shot lol

thanks though~!

Brass man, not bass (you know, horns, trumpets, trombone...stuff).
As for notes, just figure out the chords and put those.
A good free VSTi for brass instruments is DSK BRASS

- 2 layers, 23 waveforms
- Octave select and micro-detuner
- Effects (Delay, flanger)
- Assignable Automation Capability
